Last night two young guys came along with guitar and violin and payed along with me. They were both yeshiva students. The guitar was from England and the violin from Canada. He started Suzuki method on violin at age 3 so we played a few of the early repertoire. (I teach the method.) I always love meeting people who grew up in the method. We played a bit and then a friend of theirs came along with a drum. That was a nice addition. Drums can be nice and add a lot if played well and not too too loud.
Well, then we had another addition. A young lady playing with fire. She had two ropes that she lit the ends of and swung them around. She was from Latvia and had just come to Jerusalem. It was a very nice evening and it made the cold a bit more bearable. It WAS cold. We had a nice little crowd enjoying the show.
